Clorpure CA Tablet is a disinfectant for swimming pools and SPAs based on calcium hypochlorite (Ca(ClO)2), effective in eliminating bacteria, viruses and algae.

Mechanism of action:

Calcium hypochlorite dissociates in water, releasing hypochlorous acid (HClO) and chlorine ions (Cl-). However, hypochlorous acid is the active chemical species that exerts the biocidal action, and it also attacks the cell membranes of microorganisms and inhibits their growth.
